A Texas Farm Boy’s Lament

Free Energy Development for America’s Progress, Jobs, Prosperity and Pursuit of Happiness

How about a return to the good old horse and buggy days? We’ll call them EcoGreenDaze! Of course, not only would we have the plague of wind-blown horse manure polluting the air and waiting to be stepped in, we wouldn’t have the benefits of so many productive, convenient, labor saving devices like electric stoves, microwave ovens, washers, refrigerators, coffee makers, hair dryers, air conditioners, tv, no stables to muck out daily, clean air, airplanes, automobiles ready to go by turning the key and on and on and on! Meanwhile my 135 h.p. John Deere 4440 diesel tractor stands ready to work but consuming nothing as we wait for rain from the Lord.

Energy is power: horse power, electric power and BTUs replacing sweating man power! When I was a kid, I dreamed of wind mills, like water falls, creating free power. My simple thought: how could we ignore and waste such available free power. But, over the decades it became obvious why what appeared to be ‘free power’ wasn’t free. The power wasn’t available where needed, it wasn’t in useable form, it is not reliable and it still is not affordable.

But, the big government boys have never seen the light. They have never grown up. How about a huge 650# battery to power my new Eco-approved ‘green’ electric lawn mower? In addition to the cost and replacement of the battery, the simplest ’green mower’ would cost about $7,500 or more and is limited to cutting about an acre a charge! But, I have 3 acres! So, like the impracticable and expensive GM Volt, for an additional $3,000 or so, the ‘green mower’ would have an auxiliary gas engine when more or longer mowing power was needed!

What about my paid for, economical, working gas powered mower? Likely with such approved, very expensive eco-machines and associated expenses, the government solution would be to either force purchase of the government approved equipment or issue a temporary license for our present gas powered machines. Like unconstitutional, government mandated ObamaCare, a temporary waiver would be available to selected players. Otherwise, a license would be expensive, maybe $3,000 annually and the penalty for no license would be $5,000 each violation. Of course, an army of enforcers and licensing offices would be required administered by an even larger corps of well-paid functionaries. So, rather than individual choices with available equipment, great productivity and cost effectiveness, Farm boys, like myself, would have more government, more taxes by whatever names, more economic stagnation and only government choices but not progress, not jobs, not the pursuit of happiness.

Meanwhile, further exploration and development of cost effective American owned petroleum, natural gas, coal and nuclear power sources would continue to be harassed, administratively delayed and penalized as now with Exxon in the Gulf and the Julia Field. ^{WSJ, 8/18/11, Russell Gold} American employment and profits would continue to decline as we purchased less and less oil for more and more dollars. Thus, America and Americans would continue to be denied the economical-proven and available sources of cost effective energy for American progress.

Additionally, the ‘green alternative’ sources of energy like solar, wind and ethanol would continue to be approved and subsidized at great cost to most Americans as America would decline and decline and decline some more. Without energy things don’t happen. Without cost-effective energy, America and Farm boys are crippled. Like feeble older people confined to nursing homes, Americans are more and more confined to unproductive, counterproductive and self-defeating choices of the Eco Crowd. Where, what elected officials are standing for America, freedom, jobs and productivity with earned prosperity? How about just common sense and freedom? Answer: Support now and Vote the Tea Party in the 2012 Primaries and election!

It Was the Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times

… thus Charles Dickens^1812-1870 wrote in  A Tale of Two Cities (1859) about the time of the Civil War.

"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair, we had everything before us, we had nothing before us, we were all going direct to heaven, we were all going direct the other way –  "

Consider that Japan is abandoning proven efficient and safe nuclear power (as long as the rules are followed) as are both Germany and Switzerland. Meanwhile, President Obama squanders billions on proven unworkable, inefficient and costly wind and solar plants while Spain has bankrupted itself with wind and solar power and broke Greece plans billions for solar power. Who has put loco weed in their Kool Aid?  What U.S. Congressman or Senator will dare continue to support such self-destructive deeds, more American debt and spending?

Note that Charles Dickens emotionally wrote about the externals but beaten and bleeding for the Gospel message, Paul and Silas sang hymns at midnight in the Philippian jail! They exemplified soundness of faith and heaven-directed, Bible-revealed truth and attitude not defeat by external circumstances or silence to clear evil. Which define our life, perspective and sight? 

Ignoring good news and energy developments, ignoring major Democrat scandals and lies, ignoring the multitude of internet news outlets[1] and Talk Radio (primarily Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin), the media and loudmouths see only and proclaim disaster. Encouraging disorder, thuggish union activities and rabble protesters, President Obama and Democrats promise more equality and the redistribution of the rich peoples’ stuff  if voters will only choose more government and elect them in 2012. And, yes, many Christians continue to refuse accepting any risk or expense[2] in making provisions for their family choosing government assurance of health care, funds and a respectable death regardless of their neighbors’ tax expense as they deplore any mention of politics which our godly forefathers gave to us in the place of tyrants, kings and dictators by whatever names!   

Sadly so misinformed, ill-taught and spiritually dead are many church people that they believe all politics is evil, Socialism is good and claiming to be a Christian makes one safe in Christ!

Revival has to start at God’s House. It will start with Bible preaching like Isaiah One and Romans One. Recently a local man told me of how his adulterous wife has left him, secretly took all the home furnishings and now lives (and sleeps) with another man while she attends church and loudly proclaims how good God is on the internet! Sodomites likewise proclaim their sordid lifestyle while claiming Christ and are respected as members in good standing … in many churches! (I have a daughter like this.) Meanwhile, vast numbers of church girls become pregnant, refuse to out the fathers or arrogantly live together, but no repentance! Like Muslims, they have religion but not Christ. (Remember, there’s a fornicating boy for each of those unmarried pregnant girls!)

Half Those Voting Democrat

Just half are stupid, blind, ignorant and lead astray. Examine the facts of the blacks supporting the Democrat machine. For decades they have taken the dribble of handouts and believed the untrue truths and unkept promises of the machine! Yep! After decades they are still poor, still poorly educated, still from fatherless homes, still populating the prisons and still see themselves as dependent on the dole and machine . . .

They have been and still are taught to see themselves as black!Not equal Americans but still members, part of the poor, depressed, needy, unsuccessful black community of cannot. Though America has not had slaves for over 150 years, black Democrat leaders are still blaming slavery for their failures today! Like every other self-pitying group-groups, they whine about tomorrow and blame whitey or somebody, or something or the past for today's consequences of their own yesterday's sloth, lack of initiative, lack of Christianity, lack of saving, lack of experience and lack of knowledge, particularly their lack of truth!

Think about it!  Ponder the truth! In the 1860's, it was white Americans who demanded the blacks be freed! It was overwhelmingly white American men who died leading and serving in the Federal Army, fighting to both free slaves and keep the Constitution for all America and all Americans!

More to the point and more recently, in the 1930's and later it was the Democrat sheriffs, Democrat judges, Democrat politicians and Democrat neighbors in the South who lynched, killed, murdered, terrorized and hung those earnest blacks seeking to exert their American Constitutional rights, even those trying to simply get an education and ride on a bus as an American! Democrats not Republicans perpetrated and did these evils! Like in Texas, it was not until the 1990's that Republicans began to organize, hold office and gain a teetering political majority: not until the 1990�'s! But, the blacks still believe the excuses, lies, deceits and unkept, unworkable promises of the shameless Democrats just like all the other groups!

Currently, the Democrat politicians and operatives slander Republicans for daring to ask Ms. Sotomayor pointed questions about her recorded and public racist statements. Others in the Media and blogs threaten Republican politicians with the same slander for examining Ms. Sotomayor�'s record. Yet it was the Democrats who earlier dirtily fought Justice Thomas�' confirmation and later 2001 refused to even allow Justice Estrata's nomination to a Senate vote!

These operatives of the Democrat machine insist and teach that most Hispanics will vote Democrat in 2010 if the racist statements of Ms. Sotomayor are discussed, exposed, examined or even questioned!Sadly, they may be correct. Talk radio is slandered by these same Democrats.

Thus I say, half those voting Democrat are stupid, blind, ignorant and lead astray. They are duped victims of Democrat propaganda and media injustice. Just half. The other half, for natural and basic spiritual reasons, hate traditional America, her prosperity, equality before the law, her freedoms, private property, limited government, her success, her hope in righteousness, and her demand for truth for all America and all Americans with blessed opportunity for each who will.

I am a Christian and an American. I am persuaded that a Christian-revived, Conservative-committed population and Republican Party offer all Americans and all America truth, good, righteousness, reconciliation and hope with the Creator-God�'s blessings. Do you?
