Meet David Holmes

Born in Warren County, New York in 1936, David Holmes
graduated from Howard Payne University, Brownwood, Texas in 1962 and entered the
U.S. Navy as an Aviation Officer Candidate.
Earlier, having dropped out of High School to enlist in the Army Security Agency, David
was converted to Christ, His absolute lordship, the absolute veracity of His written Word and the obedience of faith in the Fall of 1956. In the first year of conversion, David read the New Testament 25 times and the Old Testament 3 times. His life was irrevocably changed.
Returning from Vietnam in 1967 to duty at the Naval Air Station, Dallas, Texas, David entered the University of Texas at Arlington Graduate School and with additional graduate work at the University of Oklahoma, completed over 24 hours of graduate work in Economics and Business before returning to Sea Duty on the West Coast in 1970.
David started the stewardship ministry to families in 1972 having left the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) that same year. From intensive discipleship studies, David was convinced of the necessity of practical, understandable and affordable Biblical Stewardship education and applications generally not practiced in the world nor even in most American church families. Focusing upon the strong, educated, Bible-oriented Christian family as the key element in the Christian church and society, David teaches, publishes and demonstrates the moral, knowledgeable, efficient, productive and affordable uses of individual voluntary association products[1] (usually referred to as affordable life insurance policies, affordable higher-deductible health insurance policies, Long Term Care policies and 15-20% IRAs via special dynamic mutual funds) to immediately, honorably, publicly and persistently make Bible-taught provisions for families that claim to worship Jesus Christ. 1Tim.5:8
Since 1972, David has produced a discipleship education publication now titled: The American Life Digest-Journal (D-J). (A complimentary copy is available to each requesting one.) The D-J presents both current developments and critiques on state-of-the-industry policies and mutual funds with specific current prices, performance, analysis, recommended IRAs, copies of documents relating to issues on family stewardship, book reviews of outstanding books and more. It is an excellent source of current and reference information for free men.
David’s primary professional duties are two: (1) General Agent of the David Holmes Agency based in Cross Plains, Texas … doing what they said couldn’t be done: recommending and selling only affordable life insurance policies that effectively protect and provide for families. Presently licensed with over 30 companies and in 48 states, he and his staff serve predominately Christian families throughout Texas and the United States. (2) As aRegistered Investment Advisor, David
assists families in understanding Christian stewardship and the building of responsible, productive owned estates using dynamic mutual funds providing income, safety and growth with expected annual gains averaging 15-20%[2]. Rejoicing in Christ’s effective grace and America’s Christian heritage blessings of freedom to work and associate according to known traditional values of faith, prudence and character, the minimum recommended estate of $300,000 is expected to produce up to a monthly income of $6,000 plus annual growth. David is persuaded this is great good news to earnest families following Christ.
Currently, in addition to the small cattle operation, Sunday School teacher and other ministerial duties, David also serves Christ Jesus as an active/involved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, conservative community activist, and EMS EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) volunteer. With the Living God and discerning people, character counts, not bigness and phony appearances.
